At IBC, we strongly believe in the power of collaboration, especially here in Kansas City. That's why we want to shine a light on the partners who play a vital role in making our work possible. One shining example of this collaboration is Of Course Kitchen, the newest culinary sensation in KC. Working closely together, the teams at IBC Carpentry, architect GastingerWalker&, and A.L. Huber General Contractor seamlessly brought Chef Swetha Newcomb’s vision to life. The result? A space that Swetha herself describes as "obsessed-worthy." From crafting bars to booths, it was truly an amazing journey turning her dream into reality alongside our partners.
Located in Overland Park, Of Course Kitchen offers a culinary experience like no other, blending South Indian and American flavors in a space that's as unique as its menu. Crafting bespoke features like a custom wine rack and screen wall, alongside IBC’s usual contributions, was both an honor and a joy. Inspired by Swetha's home and Indian architecture, the design, conceptualized by GastingerWalker&, exudes modern elegance while preserving an intimate dining ambiance.
